Beyond “Good Enough”: It’s Time For Better Events
Welcome back! It’s been a while since we last connected through The Lookout, and what a whirlwind year it’s been in the event industry.
Remember the last topic we discussed in 2023? Phygital – physical events with captivating digital elements. I was convinced it would become the main focus in the events’ industry, rather than “hybrid”. And it actually turned out that way. More and more clients come to ask me about organizing in-person events with some digital component added here and there to make the attendees’ experience more interactive. Also more sustainable in a way, since most of the communication for those events takes place digitally, which is preferable to diminish the impact of an event on the environment.
As event organizers, we at PIRATEx witnessed a growing focus on community-building, creating emotions and human connection. Whether through fewer presentations as part of conference agendas and more networking time, or a shift towards “we’ve always done it this way” to “how can we reimagine this event?”, the core message is clear: events are about fostering connections and creating lasting memories.
And to be honest, that’s something we’re good at. I’ve been right alongside you, navigating the ever-evolving landscape of the event industry. My team and I gathered a lot of knowledge these past few years in making unique events.
We’re devoted to delivering new experiences, creating emotions and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in event productions – because who has time for a good old-fashioned conference, really? Ice-bathing at conferences should become a trend, it’s definitely a good attention-grabber.
I believe in the power of human connection and the profound impact that well-executed events can have on individuals and communities. So I’d like to introduce you to our new guidebook “Your Event, Only Better”.
This is our new free comprehensive guide packed with proven strategies and practical tips to help you create extraordinary experiences for your audience. No boring theory, only concrete tips and checklists to get you started with your strategic event planning.
It’s time to rethink, reimagine and revolutionize your events.
