Developing a concept for a digital event
“The 2022 Douglas Retail Media Summit brought the opportunities of retail data-based marketing to stakeholders everywhere through a virtual event. With the theme “”Into the Data: Unlock the Power of Retail Media in a Cookieless World”” the Douglas Marketing Solutions team sought to bring the latest insights to a wider audience through an innovative event.
Douglas Marketing Solutions worked with PIRATEx to develop an innovative concept for the event, and we came together to identify the right format elements for the event, including the location, content, event platform and schedule.
The summit touched on some of the top issues facing marketers, including the “”Cookiecalypse””, the metaverse, and international branding.
The full day event featured a number of different types of event formats, to keep remote viewers engaged, including keynotes, panel discussions and masterclasses. Given their international audience, the Douglas team showcased several country specials on a side stage that were focused on topics specifically for their local markets and in their native languages– German, Polish, French, Italian and Dutch. “
