NEX TEAM: GAMING FINDS A HOME AT GAMESCOM
For Nex Team Inc., PIRATEx realized an exceptional brand experience at Gamescom: instead of a classic trade fair booth, a living room setting was created where families could interact with the new motion-controlled console.
The challenge was to transform a sterile conference room into an authentic “home” with enough open space for gesture-based gameplay, two players at once, and an additional demo zone for passing visitors.
PIRATEx developed two design concepts: one bright, playful, and family-friendly, the other natural, cozy, and stylish. From rented furniture to TV technology to concealed cable management, the agency ensured a complete implementation over three event days.

For PIRATE Night 2025, PIRATEx realized an extraordinary networking highlight: an evening event that focused not on conference formats, but on genuine encounters, energy, and brand experience.
At Odonien in Cologne, a venue full of urban atmosphere, we created an environment where start-ups, investors, brand builders, and community creators found space for conversation, connection, and inspiration. Under the motto “#SteerTheMachine”, it was not only about trends but about attitude – about how to navigate and shape consciously in the digital age.
