OMClub isn’t just DMEXCO’s after-party – it’s become Germany’s definitive celebration of digital marketing culture. PIRATEx has once again transformed Cologne’s Bootshaus into a party “’somewhere between magic, madness, and pure mayhem.’ On September 17, 2025, over 3,000 marketing professionals gathered under the motto ‘NEVER GROW OLD’ for an experience that perfectly captured the industry’s eternal quest for innovation and relevance.
The Challenge
Creating an event that stands out in Germany’s crowded trade show landscape requires more than just great production. It demands cultural relevance. Digital marketing professionals attend countless events, but OMClub needed to be the one they talk about all year. The ‘NEVER GROW OLD’ theme spoke directly to an industry obsessed with staying current while honoring the creative energy that drives innovation.
Operationally, managing 3,000+ guests across multiple dance floors while maintaining both networking opportunities and party atmosphere demands flawless coordination. OMClub 2025 had Ströer SE & Co. KGaA as Title Sponsor.
Our Approach
As the creators and organizers of this flagship event, we controlled every element from conceptual theme development through final breakdown, ensuring cohesive storytelling across all touchpoints.
Theme and Experience Design: ‘NEVER GROW OLD’ celebrated the marketing industry’s youthful energy and constant reinvention. We integrated this philosophy into everything from décor and lighting to entertainment programming. Having Loona as the opening act was a perfect artistic match – her nostalgic yet contemporary sound embodied the theme’s celebration of timeless creativity.
Sponsor Integration Excellence: With 150+ sponsors requiring meaningful activation opportunities, we created integrated brand experiences that enhanced rather than interrupted the party flow. Ströer’s title sponsorship felt natural, while partner activations provided value without compromising the authentic networking atmosphere that makes OMClub legendary.
Production and Logistics Mastery: Bootshaus’s indoor and outdoor spaces became distinct experience zones, each with professional sound systems, staging, and crowd management. Our team coordinated catering, beverages, security, and technical production while maintaining the seamless atmosphere that allows natural networking and celebration to coexist.
