Voices
The cooperation with PIRATEx at our European Logistics Innovation Day worked very well. The event was produced professionally and streamed to participants worldwide. At no time did we have the feeling that anything was off track. Even at short notice, changes to the plan were accepted and quickly implemented.

Description & Goal
The event set a focus on discussing new trends within the logistics industry. The aim was not only to inform on innovation but also on providing matchmaking opportunities between startups and investors in that field.
Technical Setup
Even though the event was remote for all viewers it had a physical component being the live studio which was set up in the stadium lounge of the Dortmund-based Bundesliga club “Borussia Dortmund”. The physically attending host guided through the program and the startups pitched entirely remotely.
Platform & Formats
The ultimate goal was to offer a very easy and intuitive matchmaking opportunity. The client decided therefore to go with the solution of b2match. The formats presented where keynotes, case studies, startup pitches, and Q&A sessions.
Key Learning
If you switch between “location” (or software solutions) consider planning a break for it so participants have enough time to figure out how to switch and don’t miss anything on the program. Also, a quick and efficient communication within the team is key when there are several streams running.
