The embedded world at Nürnberg Messe is one of the most important meeting points for the embedded systems industry. This year, PIRATEx was responsible for two key formats: Start-up City and Student Day—two concepts designed to showcase innovation and connect the right people.

Start-up City: The stage for new ideas:

More than 100 startups found a platform in the Start-up City to present their technologies and build valuable connections. PIRATEx developed the concept, coordinated participating startups, and delivered a diverse program—including keynotes, panels, and the Investment Pitch Competition, where startups engaged directly with investors and industry experts.

A standout moment was the Avnet Silica Renesas Challenge, recognizing groundbreaking solutions. PIRATEx handled the entire organization, from program development to speaker coordination and on-site execution.

Student Day: Where future meets industry:

The Student Day connected emerging talent with leading companies in the embedded industry. PIRATEx designed the program, curated the talks, and ensured direct interaction between students and companies was at the heart of the event. From initial planning to on-site execution, PIRATEx managed the entire organization—from inviting universities to supporting participants throughout the event.

From idea to execution:

These formats were the result of months of planning, close coordination with Nürnberg Messe, and a strong team on the ground. PIRATEx took charge of the entire project management process—from the initial concept phase to technical and organizational planning through to final execution.

The embedded world 2024 demonstrated how events don’t just showcase innovation but actively foster meaningful connections. PIRATEx was on-site to make that happen.
